John Yudelson
John Yudelson started writing at an early age. His first poem was to the Easter Bunny when he was 8. It worked, as the Easter Bunny found it so charming that John was left a basket that would have turned any 8 year-old's head.
He received top grades in English throughout school and was even one of the featured speakers at his high school graduation when he was 16.
After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Economics, John entered the business world where he continued to be called upon to write for executives. Later in his business career, he wrote some training films for a large aerospace firm.
However, his true calling was in education. He taught at the university level for over 30 years, eventually completing his dissertation at age 55.
His love of creative writing never stopped. He completed several courses in creative writing at the UCLA Extension Writer's program, where he completed his first screenplay. From there, he continued to write screenplays, taking additional writing courses through Screenwriter's University and other venues.
Currently, John has written over 20 screenplays, 8 novellas, and one 3-act play, An Algonquin Goodbye, which is slated to be performed in Nashville in early 2026.
In the works are more novellas, screenplays, and stage plays.
